how does qfr facial rejuvenation work?

What happens during qfr™ rejuvenation?
Utilising a synergistic combination of advanced aesthetic technologies, the QFR™ Rejuvenation treatment is available exclusively at Lesley Leale-Green.
During the QFR™ Rejuvenation treatment, the skin will be treated to a mild skin exfoliating-resurfacer - such as an enzymatic exfoliant or a lactic acid peel - to prepare the skin for the IPL Laser and enhance the action of further treatment.
Following the resurfacing, IPL Laser will be performed in accordance with your personal parameters. The benefits of the IPL are further enhanced by the inclusion of cryotherapy; to reduce post-treatment inflammation, swelling, stimulate the lymphatic system and support the production of collagen. Dermalux LED LightTherapy effectively completes the QFR™ treatment through its healing and regenerative properties.
The stimulation of the fibroblasts that produce collagen and elastin fibres, during the QFR™ Rejuvenation treatment is dramatically increased; resulting in a firmer, more radiant skin, improved skin texture and overall improvement in skin health.
will i need a patch test?
Yes. At the core of the treatment is our IPL. Prior to the treatment, you will be asked to attend an in-depth consultation and patch test, to assess your suitability for treatment. At this stage your aesthetic therapist will explain the full treatment procedure to you and answer any questions you may have.
Will I be suitable for qfr treatment?
Most clients will be suitable for treatment and this will be assessed during your consultation. As the treatment includes the use of IPL Laser, higher Fitzpatrick skin types may not be suitable for treatment.
how many treatments will I need & what results should I expect?
For optimum results, an initial programme of between 3 - 6 treatments is generally recommended, taken at monthly intervals. Dependent on your personal recommendations, maintenance treatments can be performed thereafter as advised by your skin expert.
In the 3 - 6 months following your treatment, the production of new collagen and elastin fibres will increase. You will also begin to notice an improvement in skin texture, tone and general skin radiance and skin health.
