Permanent Hair Removal.
Unwanted hair is a common problem, affecting most women and men to varying degrees throughout their lives. Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal for unwanted hair on all parts of the face and body.
what is electrolysis?
Electrolysis is a safe and effective form of permanent hair removal. It remains the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal for all skin and hair types.
how does electrolysis work?
Electrolysis works by passing a small electric current through each individually targeted hair. The current creates a heat which, when administered works to prevent the hair from regrowing; destroying any moisture, living cells and blood supply that is present at the root of the hair.
Benefits of electrolysis
Not only is electrolysis permanent, suitable for all skin types, it is also able to successfully treat all hair colours including white, grey and blonde.
Almost any area can be treated however, it is more commonly advisable for the treatment of smaller areas; facial areas (upper lip, chin, neck, cheeks and eyebrows), areola and other small areas.
How many sessions will be required?
Permanent hair removal with electrolysis will require multiple repeated sessions. Hair grows in three different stages and hair must be in the ‘anagen’ (growing stage) to be successfully inhibiting regrowth.
It is important to follow your recommended treatment plan, to achieve the desired results. However, as the hairs become finer, the treatments can be scheduled further apart.
