Think of our luxury tanning treatment as a relaxation experience; treatment includes a full body exfoliation and moisturising massage before application of a liberal dose of auto-bronze to complete.
HOW DOES SELF TAN WORK?
The main active ingredient used in Vita Liberata is DHA - this is derived from organic sugar beet. DHA is combined with pure natural and organic ingredients that condition and nourish the skin while tanning it. The DHA reacts chemically with the amino acids found in the upper epidermis of the skin; producing colouring from yellow to brown. An individual’s level of amino acids will dictate the final result of self-tan. Following your treatment, the tan should be left on the skin for between 4-8hours for optimum results.

WHAT IS THE BEST TAN FOR ME?

Think of your therapist as your tanning concierge. Our bespoke tanning treatments allow your therapist to pick from a selection of tanning shades to create the perfect shade for you. We advise a light shade for a ‘few days in the sun’ glow, medium for a ‘week in the sun’ glow and dark for a ‘2 week in the sun’ glow.
I HAVE ECZEMA / PSORIASIS, CAN I USE TAN?
Yes, the products contain ingredients such as aloe vera, which has natural soothing properties, liquorice which is anti-inflammatory and ginkgo biloba which is anti-bacterial they are suitable to use with these skin conditions. In addition, the moisture locking properties in our tans ensure dry skin remains hydrated. Always consult with a member of our team prior to scheduling an appointment to discuss your personal treatment plan if you have any acute symptoms.
In line with Industry Standards we advise not to use tan in the first trimester. However there is nothing in our products that would be of concern when pregnant.
